Impressions
Impressions (also known as “views”) count how many times an ad was displayed to users on the internet — in other words, how often users were visibly exposed to the ad. Impressions show how many times your text ads have already been delivered on Google.
Clicks
Clicks measure how many times an ad was clicked. If a user sees the ad and is interested, they can click on it and will then be redirected to the target page or landing page.
Click-through rate (CTR)
The click-through rate (CTR) is an important indicator of the success of your Search Ads. It shows how often users clicked on an ad, link, or search result in relation to the number of impressions. A high CTR means that the ad or search result attracts users’ attention and motivates them to click on the link and visit the landing page.
We display the CTR separately for different ad groups, allowing you to identify which topics are particularly in demand.
Top Position
The top positions on Google are highly desirable, as studies have shown that users tend to click more often on the first search results and less on those listed further down. A high position in the search results can therefore lead to more website traffic and increase brand visibility and awareness. For this reason, we aim to display your ads in top positions as frequently as possible.
Drive to Store
The Google Drive-to-Store metric is used to measure the impact of online marketing campaigns on physical store visits. This metric specifically refers to visits to retail stores following an interaction with a Google text ad. It shows how effective an online marketing campaign is at driving customers to brick-and-mortar locations. This helps you measure and optimize the success of your online marketing campaigns in terms of store visits.
Calls
The Google Calls metric measures the number of phone calls generated by an ad or campaign. It indicates how many calls potential customers made after clicking on an ad on their mobile device. This metric is particularly important for businesses focused on local search queries, as it helps measure and optimize the success of your advertising campaigns in generating phone calls.
