If a post is not published on your social media accounts as expected, there can be several reasons. In most cases, it is due to a technical issue — but it can usually be resolved quickly, and the post can then be republished without any problems.
💡 In many cases, the issue can be fixed very easily:
Often it is caused by an expired or invalid connection. You can simply reconnect Facebook or Instagram — after that, your post can be published again.
How to restore the connection
Then click on “Integrations” in the left-hand menu.
Select the “Reconnect Account” button
A Facebook window will open. Continue with your already logged-in account.
Select the Facebook business account under which your pages and ad accounts are managed.

Select the Facebook page you want to connect.
Select your Instagram profile.
Important: If your Instagram account does not appear here, check whether Facebook and Instagram are already connected via the Meta Business Suite.
You can find instructions for this here.
Click “Save selection” to complete the connection.

Common causes of failed posts
Currently, there are two main reasons why posts fail:
Expired access token
The connection to Facebook or Instagram is no longer valid — for example, because the password was changed or the token was automatically deactivated after a certain period of time.
API or integration errors
Sometimes temporary disruptions occur in the connection to the platform, for example due to maintenance or changes made by Meta itself.
